Valais Alps

In this online art gallery you will find my most beautiful photographs of the Valais Alps.

I discovered the Valais Alps shortly after my arrival in Switzerland in 2008 and immediately fell in love with these incredible mountains.

It was at the foot of these summits that I understood that my destiny was to become a professional mountain photographer.

The left bank of the Rhone is composed of numerous valleys each sheltering mythical mountains of more than 4000m. The most famous are the valleys of Zermatt, Saas Fee and of Verbier (Val de Bagnes) and the most natural being the Val de Tourtemagne Val d’Anniviers and Val d'Hérens and Val-d'Illiez (Region Dents du Midi )

My favourite subjects for black and white mountain photography are the Imperial Crown at Zinal (Weisshorn, Zinalrothorn, Obergabelhorn, Matterhorn, Dent Blanche), Dents du Midi and other inspiring mountain shapes.

Enjoy your trip to the high mountains!
