Dent Blanche
Dominating the Val d'Hérens, Dent Blanche stands like a queen among the giants of the Valais Alps. Culminating at 4,358 metres, this almost perfect pyramid of gneiss is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for Thomas. Its isolated position marks the boundary between the Val d'Hérens, val d’Anniviers and the Zermatt valley, offering varied and captivating perspectives.
Nicknamed "monstrous coquette" or "Queen of the Alps", its nicknames pay tribute to its striking beauty and unique character. Each face of Dent Blanche reveals a different world, new lines, transforming each photographic assignment into an adventure. From the contrasting silhouette of the Sugar Loaf seen from Bertol to the almost "Druesque" appearance seen from the Val d'Hérens, Thomas never misses an opportunity to immortalize this summit. For him, every moment spent contemplating it is a source of endless inspiration, a journey beyond its iconic summit .
