Aiguille de la République, Les Grands Charmoz

At the confluence of stars and dawn, I remember dreaming. Of a celestial breath sublimating the mountains. Of a moment of grace when my imagination met the soul of summits. Where my art immortalized the pure essence of the heights. Far from the passage of time and beyond the Alps, my work emerges from this fulgurance.

In the kingdom of Chamonix, on the granite slopes of the Mont-Blanc massif, I wait for the mountain to reveal itself. Vertiginous and flamboyant, I contemplate it without tiring of it. Despite the bitter winter cold, I persevere. But it hides and resists me. Too much fog, too much wind or not enough snow. I never give up, convinced that she's waiting for the moment to come. Testing my will and my love for her.

Until that fabulous day when she finally decides to lift the veil. On this winter's morning, the rising sun caresses my eyelids. As I step out of my tent, my heart burns with the sight that suddenly opens up before it. The crystalline aurora illuminates Mont Blanc. Windswept clouds escape from summits. A blaze of ice on the edge of the unreal and the sublime. So I seize the moment. I photograph the Aiguille de la République piercing the flames to touch the sky. I photograph the Aiguille des Grands Charmoz, an opulent pyramid that the mist reveals flush with the rocks. I photograph the Alps to take you on an intense and marvellous journey.
