About the work
The Dents du Midi dominate the Val d'Illiez in the heart of the Swiss Alps. They are made up of seven summits , all over 3,000 meters high. This legendary massif is shown here in all its splendor. I photographed these mountains from the heights of Villars-sur-Ollon. The Cime de l'Est, the Fortress and the Cathedral take center stage. At their foot nestles the Chalin refuge.
This work will be of particular interest to the inhabitants of the vaud alps and Villars-sur-Ollon, who are fortunate enough to contemplate this exceptional panorama on a daily basis. The verticality of these peaks is a constant source of inspiration for me. Every encounter I have with the Dents du Midi is unique and unpredictable. In winter, the eastern and southern slopes of the Dents du Midi glow in the sunlight, while their northern face remains in shadow until spring returns. But at every moment, their appearance is transformed by the moods of the weather and the play of light. With each photograph, they reveal a new facet of their personality, inviting me to return to them again and again to pursue my artistic quest.
I captured this portrait of the Dents du Midi in the middle of winter, when the summits were coming back to life after the storm. The clouds gradually break, bringing the mountain to the fore. The snow freshly deposited on its flanks sublimates the beauty of its geological strata, witnesses to its tumultuous, millennia-old history. Terribly powerful yet infinitely gentle, the Dents du Midi awaken our emotions and ignite our hearts.

As former inhabitants of Zermatt, it's hard to forget the Matterhorn, even in a new environment of mountains and nature.we discovered this large photo of the Matterhorn in a gallery, so strong and intense, it was impossible to forget it........ It became obvious that it should adorn our new apartment as a centerpiece.What's more, we had a very sympathetic contact with the artist, who came himself to deliver his work.It's very appreciable and adds a dimension to the object, to know its creator, his passion, the conditions under which it was taken.The texture of the photo resembles a painting, the lights play on it, Next the hours. It seems alive. A real daily pleasure!

We were bowled over!
My wife and I are amazed at the quality of print and the rendering of this magnificent photo. We had waited many years to put a picture on this blank wall because we had never "flashed" on a piece of art. Now we've found it, and it fits in perfectly at the entrance to our apartment. What's more, it depicts 3 summits that are particularly close to our hearts: the Weisshorn, Dent Blanche and the Matterhorn - quite a symbol...
