Bernese Alps

In this online art gallery you will find my most beautiful photographs of bernese alps.

It took me a long time to take my first artistic photos of bernese alps.

I try to convey the soul of the mountains in my pictures, that each picture is a unique work. To do this I need specific weather conditions that I like to call "the in-between": when the clouds break and the high mountain realm reveals itself after the storm and expresses all its grandeur.

In the bernese alpsthese conditions are very rare, the sky is usually all blue or completely under the clouds.

It took me 5 years before I understood the weather flows of this region and started to take my first black and white photos of the landscapes ofOberland .

Although I am naturally attracted to summitsabove 4000m I have discovered many other exceptional looking mountains at bernese alpsand enjoy taking alpine photographs of them.

Enjoy your trip to the high mountains!
