Bernese Alps

In this online art gallery you will find my most beautiful photographs of bernese alps.

It took me a long time to take my first artistic photos of bernese alps.

I try to convey the soul of the mountains in my pictures, so that each photo is a unique work. To do this I need specific weather conditions that I like to call "the in-between": when the clouds break and the realm of the high mountains reveals itself after the storm and expresses all its grandeur.

In the bernese alps these conditions are very rare, the sky is usually all blue or totally under the clouds.

It took me 5 years before I understood the weather flows of this region and started to take my first black and white photos of the landscapes ofOberland .

Although I am naturally attracted by the summits of more than 4000m I have discovered many other mountains with an exceptional look in the bernese alps and I have a lot of pleasure to realize alpine photographs.

Enjoy your trip to the high mountains!
