About the work
A fascinating journey to the heart of the most beautiful mountains in the Valais Alps. As I admire this magnificent panoramic photograph, I'm reminded of the fabulous adventures I've had in the high mountains. Climbing those summits so dear to my heart: what a unique experience! Dressed in black and white, these rock giants rise to over 4,000 metres in the Zermatt region. The invincible Matterhorn rises majestically to the left of the picture. Its north face sparkles in the sunlight, powerfully outlined by the ridges of the Hörnli and Zmutt. A thousand-year-old sphinx towering over the valley. At the center of the picture, The Dent d'Hérens unfurls its impressive north face. Located in an isolated wilderness, it is difficult to access. To be able to contemplate it is an opportunity that has to be earned. To the right of the picture, our gaze is drawn to the colossal and awe-inspiring north face ofObergabelhorn. In the background, the Italian Alps add depth to the shot.
I shot this incredible panorama in spring. That day, the sun was just rising when the sky cleared. Night had dressed summits in a luminous blanket of snow. The mountains stood before me in all their splendour, pure and gigantic. Pyramids of rock and ice reaching for the sky. A sublime day was beginning, with nature inviting me to contemplate her incomparable beauty. All I had to do was let myself be lulled by its breath, meditating in the face of this grandiose landscape. Wonderful high mountains!

As former inhabitants of Zermatt, it's hard to forget the Matterhorn, even in a new environment of mountains and nature.we discovered this large photo of the Matterhorn in a gallery, so strong and intense, it was impossible to forget it........ It became obvious that it should adorn our new apartment as a centerpiece.What's more, we had a very sympathetic contact with the artist, who came himself to deliver his work.It's very appreciable and adds a dimension to the object, to know its creator, his passion, the conditions under which it was taken.The texture of the photo resembles a painting, the lights play on it, Next the hours. It seems alive. A real daily pleasure!

We were bowled over!
My wife and I are amazed at the quality of print and the rendering of this magnificent photo. We had waited many years to put a picture on this blank wall because we had never "flashed" on a piece of art. Now we've found it, and it fits in perfectly at the entrance to our apartment. What's more, it depicts 3 summits that are particularly close to our hearts: the Weisshorn, Dent Blanche and the Matterhorn - quite a symbol...
