From the depths of its rock to its jagged summit, it fends off clouds and defies howling winds. To proclaim to the world its infinite power and extreme will. The Aiguille du Chardonnet, goddess of Mont-Blanc and muse of the Alps, embodies the ultimate truth in this work. When the mountain's heart bursts into flame, revealing its intrepid soul. Valiant and eternal, the Aiguille du Chardonnet urges us to fight our fears and make our dreams come true. Here and now, to love life and the splendour of the world. For nature is king and man very small. The quintessence of my art, which uses black and white to immortalize the intangible. The grandeur of summits and its striking force. When photography makes the inaccessible palpable, gives life to the invisible. It captures our gaze and arouses emotion. When contemplating it overwhelms and transforms us forever.
I experienced this exceptional adventure in the spring of 2016. On a stormy night, I bivouacked on the Grands Montets glacier, hoping that by daybreak the winds would have dissipated. But the clouds were stubborn and nature was furious. Suddenly, I saw it appear. Fabulous pyramid. Prodigious mountain. Gigantic peak still tormented by violent winds. A masterful irruption drawn by the ceaseless stream of clouds clinging to its summit. I photograph this incredible moment, when the ephemeral is adorned with the absolute. A few seconds of grace before the fog once again engulfs the Mont-Blanc massif, delivering the Aiguille du Chardonnet to the celestial abyss.

We were bowled over!
My wife and I are amazed at the quality of print and the rendering of this magnificent photo. We had waited many years to put a picture on this blank wall because we had never "flashed" on a piece of art. Now we've found it, and it fits in perfectly at the entrance to our apartment. What's more, it depicts 3 summits that are particularly close to our hearts: the Weisshorn, Dent Blanche and the Matterhorn - quite a symbol...

As former inhabitants of Zermatt, it's hard to forget the Matterhorn, even in a new environment of mountains and nature.we discovered this large photo of the Matterhorn in a gallery, so strong and intense, it was impossible to forget it........ It became obvious that it should adorn our new apartment as a centerpiece.What's more, we had a very sympathetic contact with the artist, who came himself to deliver his work.It's very appreciable and adds a dimension to the object, to know its creator, his passion, the conditions under which it was taken.The texture of the photo resembles a painting, the lights play on it, Next the hours. It seems alive. A real daily pleasure!
