I love photographing the Dent Blanche Blanche for its unique blend of purity and challenge. It never gives up easily. Its steep slopes, tapering edges and isolation make it a summit to be admired before you even consider climbing it. On the day we took this photo, the atmosphere was crystal-clear, and the mist was slowly dissipating, revealing this perfect pyramid as if sprung from a dream.

Faced with it, we feel both the call of adventure and the awareness of its limits. This portrait is not just that of a mountain: it's that of a citadel of ice, guardian of the secrets of the Alps.
