About the work
The striking power of Dents du Midi emerging from the mist. This iconic mountain range in the Valais region of the Swiss Alps can be seen from this angle from the Portes du Soleil and Les Gets ski resorts. The north face of summits can also be admired from the Vaud Riviera, on the shores of Lake Geneva. You'll find this exceptional photograph in my art book Above, published in 2021.
This work is one of my most beautiful creations. It is the result of very special weather conditions. I had to go and meet the mountain just after the storm, and succeed in immortalizing the precise moment when it tore through the clouds to appear in broad daylight, flamboyant and unchanging. To get the perfect shot, its walls had to be covered in pure snow and the clouds had to give way to light. Only then could the mountain take center stage, undisputed queen of heaven and earth. What a breathtaking spectacle nature offers us!
This search of grandeur never ceases to inspire me. Here, the work sublimates the incredible strength of the mountains, highlighting their impressive shape as sharp jaws ready to tear the sky apart. This portrait of Dents du Midi is a pure work of art, conveying intense emotions. My interpretation of the mountain's soul, venerable and powerful. This fine art photograph exudes a dramatic atmosphere worthy of the greatest scenes in Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings. The mountain seems to arbitrate the primordial battle between good and evil, Yin and Yang. The poignant atmosphere of the painting, supported by a powerful interplay of light and shadow and the charisma of Dents du Midi, both petrifies and fascinates us.

We were bowled over!
My wife and I are amazed at the quality of print and the rendering of this magnificent photo. We had waited many years to put a picture on this blank wall because we had never "flashed" on a piece of art. Now we've found it, and it fits in perfectly at the entrance to our apartment. What's more, it depicts 3 summits that are particularly close to our hearts: the Weisshorn, Dent Blanche and the Matterhorn - quite a symbol...

As former inhabitants of Zermatt, it's hard to forget the Matterhorn, even in a new environment of mountains and nature.we discovered this large photo of the Matterhorn in a gallery, so strong and intense, it was impossible to forget it........ It became obvious that it should adorn our new apartment as a centerpiece.What's more, we had a very sympathetic contact with the artist, who came himself to deliver his work.It's very appreciable and adds a dimension to the object, to know its creator, his passion, the conditions under which it was taken.The texture of the photo resembles a painting, the lights play on it, Next the hours.
