About the work
A glittering portrait of the legendary bernese alps triptych. The internationally renowned Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau rise to over 4,000 meters above Grindelwald. I took this striking black-and-white photograph in spring, after a major snowstorm. The clouds are gradually giving way to summits, the vaporous waves that had crashed against the Alpine reefs the day before.
In the foreground, the Eiger reveals its magnificent Mittellegi ridge. I dream of one day climbing it, and thus completing one of the most beautiful ridge traverses in the Alps. The east face of the mountain is bathed in light. A sumptuous blanket of snow with fascinating textures. Himalayan beauty that seems to come straight out of a dream. I've waited so many years to be able to contemplate such a spectacle! In the background, the Mönch, proudly wearing its royal finery. The dazzling white of its eastern face echoes the intense black of its northern wall. In the center of the picture, Jungfrau emerges like a ship from the sea of clouds. The photograph highlights its inspiring shapes, pyramidal silhouette and sharp point.
I love the perfect balance that emerges from the photograph. The almost cinematic framing invites us to adventure. Through a play of perspectives, the work has a captivating depth that immediately transports us to the high mountains. And so begins an exciting journey to the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. A flight to the heart of bernese alps and its grandiose summits so dear to mountain dwellers.

As former inhabitants of Zermatt, it's hard to forget the Matterhorn, even in a new environment of mountains and nature.we discovered this large photo of the Matterhorn in a gallery, so strong and intense, it was impossible to forget it........ It became obvious that it should adorn our new apartment as a centerpiece.What's more, we had a very sympathetic contact with the artist, who came himself to deliver his work.It's very appreciable and adds a dimension to the object, to know its creator, his passion, the conditions under which it was taken.The texture of the photo resembles a painting, the lights play on it, Next the hours. It seems alive. A real daily pleasure!

We were bowled over!
My wife and I are amazed at the quality of print and the rendering of this magnificent photo. We had waited many years to put a picture on this blank wall because we had never "flashed" on a piece of art. Now we've found it, and it fits in perfectly at the entrance to our apartment. What's more, it depicts 3 summits that are particularly close to our hearts: the Weisshorn, Dent Blanche and the Matterhorn - quite a symbol...
