Known worldwide as one of the three great north faces of the Alps, alongside the Matterhorn and the Grandes Jorasses, it embodies a veritable mountaineering myth.

Here, the Eiger reveals a striking rock texture, where strata of stone, exposed to icy winds and inclement weather, tell of the countless hardships endured by climbers who have ventured here.
