Can you hear the call of this fabulous mountain? The Jungfrau , blazing from the impetuous waves of its glacial immensity. The snow flowing from its flanks descends along the Jungfraufirn to water the famous Aletsch glacier below, the largest in Europe. This black-and-white photograph sounds like a hymn to the splendor of the Swiss Alps and its rocky muse, which rises to 4158 meters above sea level on the borders of the Valais and Berne cantons.
In the early spring of 2023, furious winds have reshaped the Alpine landscape. After surviving the winter drought, the glaciers are finally regenerating. Their crevasses are gorged with snow, marvellous cracks in an implacable nature. From shadow to light, the clouds invite us to admire the exceptional graphic features of the mountains. Between heaven and earth, the legendary Rottalgrat ridge guides us from the Rottalhorn to summit de la Jungfrau. In a single glance, our soul joins that of the summit through the brilliance of its icy mantle.
A few months later, I had the incredible good fortune to climb Jungfrau via its normal route. I trod this beautiful and dangerous south face. Crossing its snow bridges, contemplating its abyssal crevasses. Through my work, I immortalize the high mountains in all their vertiginous, lightning-fast purity. But whereas it once blossomed with eternal snow, it now only shows off its royal finery in moments of grace. And it devours mountaineers who, lured by its beauty, play the fool. Just as mermaids captivate the hearts of sailors with their song, the bewitching mountain captivates our minds irrevocably. A fatal fascination for those who ignore its dangers. A journey to the encounter with a transcendent and sublime nature that lifts us beyond ourselves and beyond the world."

As former inhabitants of Zermatt, it's hard to forget the Matterhorn, even in a new environment of mountains and nature.we discovered this large photo of the Matterhorn in a gallery, so strong and intense, it was impossible to forget it........ It became obvious that it should adorn our new apartment as a centerpiece.What's more, we had a very sympathetic contact with the artist, who came himself to deliver his work.It's very appreciable and adds a dimension to the object, to know its creator, his passion, the conditions under which it was taken.The texture of the photo resembles a painting, the lights play on it, Next the hours. It seems alive. A real daily pleasure!

We were bowled over!
My wife and I are amazed at the quality of print and the rendering of this magnificent photo. We had waited many years to put a picture on this blank wall because we had never "flashed" on a piece of art. Now we've found it, and it fits in perfectly at the entrance to our apartment. What's more, it depicts 3 summits that are particularly close to our hearts: the Weisshorn, Dent Blanche and the Matterhorn - quite a symbol...
