Mont-Blanc
Revelation above the clouds
About the work
How many summits 4000-meter peaks can you count in this photograph? Countless! To the left of the picture, the Italian side of the massif rises proudly, while to the right, the French side stretches out in majesty. On the horizon, our gaze wanders to the Barre des Écrins, the Agneaux, the Meije and the Pelvoux. They rise up like ephemeral islands in this vast ocean of mist. Closer to us, the Peuterey ridge, the Black and White of the Grand Pilier d'Angle draw a clear line in the landscape. They guide our gaze towards the roof of Europe. Aiguille du Goûter, Bionnassay, Mont Blanc du Tacul, Mont Maudit, Aiguille du Midi, Aiguilles du Diable. A succession of peaks to marvel at. Each element of this photograph is a chapter in a story larger than ourselves. And I, as the humble narrator, try to capture its essence.
Observe the ethereal, dreamy side of photography, which oscillates between reality and abstraction. These summits mountains captivate me with their sheer beauty and constantly fuel my desire to climb them. In this journey between earth and sky, marked by gentle contrasts, I invite you to join me. This world is dear to me, and I share it passionately with many mountaineers and collectors.
