About the work
Magnificent detail of a ridge on Piz Palü, the famous summit of the Eastern Alps, reaching for the sky at 3882 meters. A masterpiece of nature sculpted between earth and sky in Switzerland's Bernina massif. Perfect symmetry of relief, precision of line and play of lines, raw and poetic, firm and refined. The diagonals of the ridges echo the horizontals of the glaciers. The deep, delicate light enhances this fabulous creation, the secret of nature.
To create this almost abstract photograph, I chose to isolate this detail of Piz Palü with my telephoto lens. When I saw the perfect geometry of summit, I felt the compelling need to conceal the surrounding landscape and focus the viewer's attention on the story I wanted to tell. To highlight this fabulous point that rises towards the sky like a pyramid with a divine form. To immortalize it before it disappears, swallowed up by the clouds. From one moment to the next, the pure, absolute beauty of the mountain threatened to escape me. In this exceptionally graphic picture, the photographer's seasoned eye brings to life the very essence of nature, pure and wild. The absolute beauty of a mountain inaccessible to man, inspiring my art as it animates my thoughts.

As former inhabitants of Zermatt, it's hard to forget the Matterhorn, even in a new environment of mountains and nature.we discovered this large photo of the Matterhorn in a gallery, so strong and intense, it was impossible to forget it........ It became obvious that it should adorn our new apartment as a centerpiece.What's more, we had a very sympathetic contact with the artist, who came himself to deliver his work.It's very appreciable and adds a dimension to the object, to know its creator, his passion, the conditions under which it was taken.The texture of the photo resembles a painting, the lights play on it, Next the hours. It seems alive. A real daily pleasure!

We were bowled over!
My wife and I are amazed at the quality of print and the rendering of this magnificent photo. We had waited many years to put a picture on this blank wall because we had never "flashed" on a piece of art. Now we've found it, and it fits in perfectly at the entrance to our apartment. What's more, it depicts 3 summits that are particularly close to our hearts: the Weisshorn, Dent Blanche and the Matterhorn - quite a symbol...
