About the work
In 2014, I discovered the Chamonix region after exploring the splendors of the Valais. Shortly before sunset, as a storm rages down the slopes of Mont Blanc, I take this portrait of the king of the Alps in majesty. The fury of the elements that sweeps our hearts away, the symphony of nature that guides us skywards along a celestial span adorned in black and white.
Like sand escaping from a giant dune, the Grande Bosse mingles with dancing mist. Only the sparkling ice at its feet reminds us that we're in the mountains. Clouds swirl around, setting the glittering crest of the Dôme du Goûter ablaze. To the left, Mont Maudit imposes its cadence, exposing the jagged rocks of its fabulous ridge to the sun.
Before long, the magic will be over. Mont Blanc will disappear beneath a grey mass. Just a few seconds of a grandiose spectacle. At summit Mont Blanc looks like the top of the world. I dreamt of this photograph as the powerful breath of a legendary mountain. Like a marvellous journey from the shadow of its rock to the light of its glaciers. I offer you this moment of grace as a jewel box of beauty that now vibrates for eternity.

We were bowled over!
My wife and I are amazed at the quality of print and the rendering of this magnificent photo. We had waited many years to put a picture on this blank wall because we had never "flashed" on a piece of art. Now we've found it, and it fits in perfectly at the entrance to our apartment. What's more, it depicts 3 summits that are particularly close to our hearts: the Weisshorn, Dent Blanche and the Matterhorn - quite a symbol...

As former inhabitants of Zermatt, it's hard to forget the Matterhorn, even in a new environment of mountains and nature.we discovered this large photo of the Matterhorn in a gallery, so strong and intense, it was impossible to forget it........ It became obvious that it should adorn our new apartment as a centerpiece.What's more, we had a very sympathetic contact with the artist, who came himself to deliver his work.It's very appreciable and adds a dimension to the object, to know its creator, his passion, the conditions under which it was taken.The texture of the photo resembles a painting, the lights play on it, Next the hours.
