About the work
A sumptuous celestial kingdom that sweeps my soul away and makes my heart capsize. A moment of grace where the mountains seem to come straight out of my imagination. This spellbinding black-and-white photograph of the Mont-Blanc massif takes us right up close to summits. The Aiguille du Triolet peaks at 3870 metres above the Val Ferret, on the border between the French and Italian Alps. To its right, Pointe Isabelle rises to 3761 metres. But beyond their history, it's the beauty of this suspended moment that brings the picture to life.
I love the soft contrasts that emanate from this wonderful portrait of the Aiguille du Triolet. These three successive planes, these ridge lines that punctuate the painting. One after the other, they emerge from the landscape to lead us to the summit of the frosted rock. The mountains emerge from the mist after overcoming the fury of a storm. The sun illuminates the freshly snow-covered summits with its precious rays. A source of life, the star also foretells the imminent destruction of nature's masterpiece. Ephemeral splendor from another world.
I've waited so long for this magical moment. When the elements come together in symbiosis to bring out the very essence of the mountain's purity. When rock, wind, light and snow reveal the most beautiful things in the world. That's when I have to be present, in tune with nature. In a fraction of a second, to capture that precious moment before the sky closes in on the high mountains. To highlight the magnificence of this beyond through my photographs. And when I contemplate the photograph, intense emotions transport me once again. Breathless, my mind escapes to summits.

We were bowled over!
My wife and I are amazed at the quality of print and the rendering of this magnificent photo. We had waited many years to put a picture on this blank wall because we had never "flashed" on a piece of art. Now we've found it, and it fits in perfectly at the entrance to our apartment. What's more, it depicts 3 summits that are particularly close to our hearts: the Weisshorn, Dent Blanche and the Matterhorn - quite a symbol...

As former inhabitants of Zermatt, it's hard to forget the Matterhorn, even in a new environment of mountains and nature.we discovered this large photo of the Matterhorn in a gallery, so strong and intense, it was impossible to forget it........
