About the work
From Zermatt, the Weisshorn reveals its legendary majesty after the storm. This 4,506-metre colossus, lord of the Imperial Crown of Zinal, emerges from the clouds like an awakening giant, plastered with fresh snow in this crystalline light. The jagged line of its ridge guides our gaze to the farthest reaches of the heavens. Ever since I first set eyes on the Weisshorn from the heights of the Bella Tola, this mountain has never ceased to fascinate me. Its rock seems to pulse to the rhythm of my heart. And in 2022, I made one of my dreams come true: I reached the summit the Weisshorn.
This perfect pyramid fascinates with its absolute geometry. A wall of rock powdered with snow, the mountain seems to be on a level with the stars. Each ridge soars skyward with a precision that defies comprehension. A light veil of cloud plays with the summit, caressing its flanks in a mysterious dance. This ethereal mist reveals and then conceals the mountain. The Weisshorn appears and disappears according to the whims of the atmosphere.
Our gaze is lost in this celestial architecture, captivated by its raw beauty. The fresh snow reveals every detail of this Valais pyramid, creating a striking contrast with the dark rock that peeks through here and there.
I've been waiting for that moment when the lord agrees to reveal himself. This fleeting vision, where the Weisshorn emerges from its cloudy shroud, captures the very essence of the high mountain. From ice and rock, an exceptional work of art emerges, in which the purity of nature touches our hearts. Through this black and white photograph, I pay homage to this emblematic giant of the Zermatt valley and the Val d'Anniviers.

As former inhabitants of Zermatt, it's hard to forget the Matterhorn, even in a new environment of mountains and nature.we discovered this large photo of the Matterhorn in a gallery, so strong and intense, it was impossible to forget it........ It became obvious that it should adorn our new apartment as a centerpiece.What's more, we had a very sympathetic contact with the artist, who came himself to deliver his work.It's very appreciable and adds a dimension to the object, to know its creator, his passion, the conditions under which it was taken.The texture of the photo resembles a painting, the lights play on it, Next the hours. It seems alive. A real daily pleasure!

We were bowled over!
My wife and I are amazed at the quality of print and the rendering of this magnificent photo. We had waited many years to put a picture on this blank wall because we had never "flashed" on a piece of art. Now we've found it, and it fits in perfectly at the entrance to our apartment. What's more, it depicts 3 summits that are particularly close to our hearts: the Weisshorn, Dent Blanche and the Matterhorn - quite a symbol...
