About the work
In the heart of the Valais Alps, the Zinalrothorn rises like a monument. Its sharp silhouette pierces the clouds at an altitude of 4221 metres. This perfect pyramid, with ridges chiselled by millennia, offers those who know how to wait for it visions of unspeakable splendour.
That day, the mountain was discreet, hidden beneath a thick cloak of mist. Impetuous winds enveloped it in their tumultuous embrace. I waited, motionless and confident, all the way from Val d'Anniviers, for I know the whims of giants. And suddenly, as if by magic, the veil was torn. A fleeting moment of celestial revelation. The north face of the Zinalrothorn appeared to me bathed in a magnificent light that exalted every detail of its structure. Shadows and light danced on the slopes of this majestic summit .
This vision lasted only an instant. Seconds later, clouds engulfed the Zinalrothorn once again. As I made my way back down to the valley, all I could think about was the spectacle this summit had just offered me. Photographing the mountain is not just about capturing a landscape, it's about immortalizing a moment of eternity, a split second when the summit speaks to us in the depths of our being. The Zinalrothorn offered me this revelation that day.

As former inhabitants of Zermatt, it's hard to forget the Matterhorn, even in a new environment of mountains and nature.we discovered this large photo of the Matterhorn in a gallery, so strong and intense, it was impossible to forget it........ It became obvious that it should adorn our new apartment as a centerpiece.What's more, we had a very sympathetic contact with the artist, who came himself to deliver his work.It's very appreciable and adds a dimension to the object, to know its creator, his passion, the conditions under which it was taken.The texture of the photo resembles a painting, the lights play on it, Next the hours. It seems alive. A real daily pleasure!

We were bowled over!
My wife and I are amazed at the quality of print and the rendering of this magnificent photo. We had waited many years to put a picture on this blank wall because we had never "flashed" on a piece of art. Now we've found it, and it fits in perfectly at the entrance to our apartment. What's more, it depicts 3 summits that are particularly close to our hearts: the Weisshorn, Dent Blanche and the Matterhorn - quite a symbol...
