In this panoramic photograph, two legends of the Valais Alps emerge. On the left, the Matterhorn, shrouded in a veil of cloud, takes on a mysterious, almost unreal allure. On the right, the Zinalrothorn converses with the shifting shapes of the clouds.

These famous Swiss mountains emerge from their cottony shroud. The Matterhorn, a mythical 4,478-metre pyramid, stands like a lighthouse in this sea of mist. The embracing clouds seem to waltz around it, swirling in a tender, evanescent embrace. The Zinalrothorn, jewel of the Imperial Crown of Zinal, also plays with the elements. These two giants respond to each other in this atmospheric dance, creating a spectacle of rare beauty where mountain and sky merge.

Our gaze travels between these two colossi, captivated by this surreal vision where reality surpasses fiction. The clouds sculpt the light, revealing and concealing these summits at their whim, transforming the landscape into a natural theater. Black and white intensifies the timelessness of this work. Freed from the distraction of color, our attention is drawn to textures, contrasts and volumes. The darker areas evoke mystery and the unknown, while the lighter parts seem to promise the revelation of a jealously guarded secret.
