The Zinalrothorn rises immaculately from the heart of the Valais Alps. On this particular day, an aura of clouds envelops it like an ethereal cloak, separating it from the rest of the world. The snow conditions on the normal route are exceptional: a uniform mantle covers its edges and flanks, softening the relief while sublimating the verticality of its lines.
