In the heart of the Valais Alps, an impetuous mountain was born. Allalinhorn dominates Saas Fee with its towering splendour. Its crown of ice glistens as the spring sun glides over its back. A mountain of mystery and purity,Allalinhorn is one of Switzerland's most accessible summits at an altitude of over 4000 metres. To the left, you can see the Hohlaubgrat. To the right, the normal route passes over the Feegletscher. Further down, the Mittelallalin appears, the starting point for the ascent ofAllalinhorn.

This black-and-white photograph highlights the power of the summit. Despite its ease of access, the immensity of its north face is awe-inspiring. Despite the dramatic intensity emanating from this black-and-white photograph, it seems beyond our reach. Through my creations, I give mountains a mythical status. By selecting a unique angle and capturing the perfect moment, I capture their majesty. Braving the fury of the winds,Allalinhorn glistens with its freshly laid robe of snow. Queen of the icy mountains, its hue captivates us.

I took this portrait ofAllalinhorn in the spring of 2020. Just as the storm had covered the face with a thin layer of snow, the mountain is reborn at dawn. Look at the size of the seracs on its face. A fabulous mountain, it opens the way to a new journey, that of ultimate freedom.
