Here, the Bec des Rosses stands out like a wild bastion above Verbier. This mountain, emblematic of the Pennine Alps, reveals all its winter power in this photograph. Freshly fallen snow dresses its steep flanks in delicate finery, contrasting with the intrinsic ruggedness of its relief. The sharp, clean lines of the mountain create a fascinating dance between Shadows and lights, where every detail reveals the intensity of this unique place.

The Bec des Rosses, renowned for its extreme difficulty, welcomes the world's skiing and snowboarding elite each year for the Verbier Extreme, the final event of the Freeride World Tour. With vertiginous slopes fluctuating between 55 and 60 degrees, this mountain defies human limits, demanding courage, mastery and absolute respect from its skiers.

Photographing this imposing face was an emotionally-charged experience for me. It was about capturing the spirit of this giant, its complexity and raw elegance. Every moment spent in front of it was a silent dialogue with the mountain, in a delicate balance between admiration and humility.
