From the Gornergrat region, the Matterhorn stands out, solitary and sovereign, like a natural monument shaped by time. Under my lens, a long exposure captures the invisible: the movement of the clouds that glide and curl around its summit, as if caught by the magnetic aura of this mythical summit .

Wild and grandiose, the Matterhorn embodies the raw power and timeless elegance of the Alps. Its pyramidal silhouette, perfectly cut into the sky, irresistibly draws the eye. The rocky strata and black-and-white contrasts tell a story millions of years old. Here, the mountain is both sculpture and living being, fixed and moving, eternal and ephemeral.

I love the overwhelming atmosphere that emanates from this photograph. It transports us beyond the simple landscape. Photographing the Matterhorn in this way is also a tribute to one of the most powerful symbols of the Alps. A summit that has always inspired mountaineers, travellers and artists alike.
