Queen of the Val d'Hérens, the Dent Blanche appears in this photograph like a supernatural apparition. On this winter's day, the emblematic summit of the Valais soared into an atmosphere laden with mist and snow. Its slender silhouette, chiselled by wind and ice, pierced the clouds with the majesty of a celestial peak.

The halo that surrounds the mountain accentuates this unreal impression. The North Ridge, usually severe and dreaded, here seems to float in another world. The diffuse light, filtered through the clouds, gives the scene a mystical quality: as if the Dent Blanche were transformed into a divine spire, a beacon rising above the chaos of the valleys.

Snow and ice plastered to the walls give the summit a singular texture. The sharp contrast between the brilliance of the snow and the harshness of the rock creates a metallic, almost mineral effect that magnifies the mountain's power. Every detail, every relief is revealed with a rare intensity, as if nature itself had sculpted a steel jewel.

With this work, I wanted to pay homage to this legendary summit . The Dent Blanche is not just a mountain: it's a symbol. It reminds us that, in the face of storms and darkness, light always comes out in the end. And in this ephemeral ray, the summit rises, invincible, like a promise of eternity.
