Hundreds of miles from home, I set off in the direction of the Dent Blanche hut. Suddenly, it emerges from the celestial abyss like a shark's fin splitting the waves. The Dent d'Hérens as the ultimate triumph. A rocky promontory rising out of nothingness to proclaim to the world that beauty remains. When nature creates its masterpiece at over 4,000 metres above Zermatt, I dedicate my art to it. With all my heart, with all my essence, I strive to capture the dazzling majesty of this massif.

More than a simple snapshot, this creation is an evocation. Fascinating beauty of the peaks, a natural wonder. Where light and shadow intermingle to transport us across an ocean of clouds. I captured this privileged moment after long hours of waiting, just as the storm was beginning to subside. The clouds, still stirred by the last breaths of wind, encircled the summit in a moving embrace. Then, suddenly, the breakthrough of light transformed the mountain into an almost supernatural vision. Age-old ridges, immutable silhouettes, ephemeral mists. As if in a breath, the Dent d'Hérens suddenly revealed itself and struck us right in the heart.
