A fabulous portrait of the Intégrale de Peuterey and Aiguille Verte. The Mont Blanc massif reveals one of its most precious jewels. In the foreground is the Intégrale de Peuterey. A succession of sharp teeth and rocky gendarmes, it is one of the most formidable routes in the Alps, reserved for exceptional mountaineers. Its jagged silhouette emerges from the clouds, defying anyone who would dare to claim its conquest. In the background, majestic and sovereign, the Aiguille Verte rises to 4122 metres, dominating its kingdom with an imperious gaze. I was lucky enough to climb this summit in 2025 with my guide Johann Filliez. The ascent of this granite giant remains engraved in my mind as one of the most intense moments of my mountaineering life.

I love the dramatic tension in this black-and-white photograph - the constant dialogue between the rock and the fleeting clouds that embrace it. I love the rough texture of Mont Blanc's granites, the sharpness of its ridges. I love the depth and sequence of shots that compose a visual symphony of rare intensity. The veils of mist that unravel around the summits give this photograph an almost supernatural dimension, as if these mountains belonged as much to the realm of dreams as to that of reality.

Through this work, I wanted to capture the telluric energy that makes each summit a living being in its own right. Silent witnesses to our struggles and victories, they remind us that mountaineering, beyond its physical prowess, is above all a spiritual quest, an intimate encounter with nature.
