Portrait of two splendid mountains: the Weisshorn and the Matterhorn. In the realm of the giants, the Weisshorn unfurls its silhouette at an altitude of 4,505 metres. A magisterial symphony of ice and rock, its northern ridge soars skyward like a sharp blade defying weightlessness. I contemplate this white colossus with an austere, intimidating grace. Its vertiginous verticality, its almost supernaturally white slope, testify to its primitive power and timeless majesty.

In the distance, emerging from a sea of clouds, the Matterhorn rises, a perfect, haunting pyramid. This mountain haunts my dreams, this icon of the Alps whose unique silhouette shaped my gaze and still fuels my passion. I remember the day I climbed the Matterhorn with my friend Vivian Bruchez. It was a magical moment that will remain engraved in my memory forever.

With this photograph, I wanted to capture the silent conversation between these two mythical summits , these two different expressions of Alpine beauty. The Weisshorn, with its north ridge and harmonious curves beneath a blanket of immaculate snow. The Matterhorn, still the most beautiful natural pyramid in the world.

Beyond the mist-shrouded valleys, the eye travels to the Matterhorn, the mythical sentinel that stands guard, immovable and proud. Between these two monuments of nature, a silent conversation is established, a dialogue of eternity that I was privileged to witness and that I offer you today, frozen in the moment but alive in its evocative power.
