About the work
A tumultuous journey towards the conquest of Mont Blanc. This panoramic photograph guides our gaze across the Alps, along the ridge separating France and Italy. Mont Blanc emerges like a daydream above a sea of clouds. From the heights of Megève, this panorama reveals the mythical routes leading to the Roof of Europe: the normal route via the Goûter refuge and the 3 Monts route.
In the foreground, the Aiguille du Goûter and its refuge stand out elegantly. To its right, the magnificent aiguille de Bionnassay rises to an altitude of 4,052 metres. Our gaze then takes us to the Dôme du Goûter, before rejoining the normal route to climb the Bosses ridge and reach the summit the Alps, Mont Blanc. To the left of Mont Blanc are its inseparable companions: Mont Maudit and Mont Blanc du Tacul.
This panoramic photograph embodies the very essence of my artistic approach: capturing the moment when the mountain reveals its soul in the chaos. In the mountains, we are but fleeting visitors. All it takes is a darkening cloud, a sudden gust of wind or a few snowflakes for everything to change. As former inhabitants of Zermatt, it's hard to forget the Matterhorn, even in a new environment of mountains and nature.we discovered this large photo of the Matterhorn in a gallery, so strong and intense, it was impossible to forget it........ It became obvious that it should adorn our new apartment as a centerpiece.What's more, we had a very sympathetic contact with the artist, who came himself to deliver his work.It's very appreciable and adds a dimension to the object, to know its creator, his passion, the conditions under which it was taken.The texture of the photo resembles a painting, the lights play on it, Next the hours. It seems alive. A real daily pleasure!

We were bowled over!
My wife and I are amazed at the quality of print and the rendering of this magnificent photo. We had waited many years to put a picture on this blank wall because we had never "flashed" on a piece of art. Now we've found it, and it fits in perfectly at the entrance to our apartment. What's more, it depicts 3 summits that are particularly close to our hearts: the Weisshorn, Dent Blanche and the Matterhorn - quite a symbol...
