To its right, the Hörnli ridge cuts a path to the heavens, while the Hörnli hut stands at its feet.

I've waited a long time for this fleeting moment when the mountain converses with the sky in a language that only nature can hear. Until one day, my wish came true. Equipped with my camera, I was finally ready to seize my chance. The Matterhorn seemed to breathe deeply, enveloped in an ephemeral mist that sublimated its forms. A jewel of stone set in ice, a sovereign flame dominating the Alps. No other mountain dared to face it. No other peak could measure up to it. I immortalized it in the last light of the day.

I love it when the Matterhorn reveals itself like this, at once Powerful and fragile, master of the sky yet subject to the whims of the elements.
