The Matterhorn. At first light, the most beautiful mountain in the Alps is decked out in an immaculate coat of white. A light mist escapes from the summit.

Here, I've chosen to focus on the Hörnli ridge, a mythical route steeped in my own memories. I climbed this ridge on my ascent of the Matterhorn with Vivian Bruchez. An experience engraved forever in my memory. Every time I look at this photograph, I relive that climb.

The Matterhorn rises, majestic and solitary. It breathes the slow, deep rhythm of winter. I lose myself in the contemplation of this subtle, ever-changing beauty. I'm fascinated by the play of light and shadow that delicately carves its contours. The mountain, adorned with fresh snow, contrasts with the darker background. This duality gives the image a raw yet delicate power.
