In an article Previous we mentioned the project of a railway to reach the summit of the Matterhorn and the opposition it raised between 1906 and 1907. Despite the outcry in Switzerland and in Europe, this was not the last attempt of this type, as one might have expected, on the contrary: at the beginning of the 1950s, a cable car was planned on the Italian side to reach the summit of the famous summit. For his old renovated farmhouse located in the canton of Fribourg, Max wanted a large format mountain picture in his new open kitchen. His project? To put this mountain panorama of the Valais Alps in place of the credenza. An original interior decoration that he enjoys every day while cooking or from his living room.
A wind of freedom blows over Val d’Anniviers, in the Valais Alps. The valley is known to offer a breathtaking view of the Imperial Crown. This nature, still preserved and in its raw state, convinced Michel and Alex to acquire a magnificent wooden chalet. For the interior decoration, they opted for an authentic yet contemporary atmosphere, with a wall decoration composed of black and white mountain photos.
