From Trockener Steg, the Matterhorn reveals its eastern face in a mysterious game. At the boundary between two worlds, this mythical pyramid is absorbed by the clouds. For over a decade, I nurtured the dream of capturing this extraordinary portrait. Every day, I observed this legendary mountain, hoping to capture the moment when this majestic pyramid would appear in a unique way.
The clouds have transformed this legendary mountain. They envelop it in a vaporous veil, making it disappear and reappear at their whim. This atmospheric dance creates a unique magic, where the Matterhorn seems to float between heaven and earth.
Our eyes discover the eastern face in a totally new light. The clouds sculpt the light, creating shifting shadows that reveal and then conceal the details of this natural architecture. This perfect geometry, so familiar from Zermatt, takes on a dreamlike dimension here.
I watched this phenomenon for hours, captivated by this perpetual transformation. The Matterhorn gradually disappears in this cottony mist, leaving only a glimpse of its bold tip.

As former inhabitants of Zermatt, it's hard to forget the Matterhorn, even in a new environment of mountains and nature.we discovered this large photo of the Matterhorn in a gallery, so strong and intense, it was impossible to forget it........ It became obvious that it should adorn our new apartment as a centerpiece.What's more, we had a very sympathetic contact with the artist, who came himself to deliver his work.It's very appreciable and adds a dimension to the object, to know its creator, his passion, the conditions under which it was taken.The texture of the photo resembles a painting, the lights play on it, Next the hours. It seems alive. A real daily pleasure!

We were bowled over!
My wife and I are amazed at the quality of print and the rendering of this magnificent photo. We had waited many years to put a picture on this blank wall because we had never "flashed" on a piece of art. Now we've found it, and it fits in perfectly at the entrance to our apartment. What's more, it depicts 3 summits that are particularly close to our hearts: the Weisshorn, Dent Blanche and the Matterhorn - quite a symbol...
