In the canton of Graubünden, in the heart of the Swiss Alps, soars a legendary ridge. On the edge of heaven and earth, oscillating between light and shadow, Biancograt guides climbers to the summit of Piz Bernina as man navigates a sea of dreams. Biancograt lifts us beyond ourselves as it reveals the splendours of the world above. This grandiose realm shining with a thousand lights, where the mountains are adorned with eternal snows.
Overwhelming abstraction, extreme simplicity. I love the poetry of this ridge. The grace of its forms, its willful soul. Its unique way of caressing the skies while proclaiming its determination to the world. Elegant and powerful, stealthy and imposing. The evanescence of its contours and its immutable strength. Its beauty obsesses me as it intoxicates me. And I never tire of photographing her. Just as a muse never ceases to inspire the artist. But whereas a painter or sculptor has complete freedom to conceive his work, my photographs are born of nature's desires alone. Only the elements help me to perfect her creation. When the snow reveals the mountain's features and the textures of its rock. When clouds bring out the beauty of the Alps. When the light underlines the grandeur of the moment. My art reveals the majesty of this celestial ridge. The breath of its flight transforms chaos into absolute serenity.

We were bowled over!
My wife and I are amazed at the quality of print and the rendering of this magnificent photo. We had waited many years to put a picture on this blank wall because we had never "flashed" on a piece of art. Now we've found it, and it fits in perfectly at the entrance to our apartment. What's more, it depicts 3 summits that are particularly close to our hearts: the Weisshorn, Dent Blanche and the Matterhorn - quite a symbol...

As former inhabitants of Zermatt, it's hard to forget the Matterhorn, even in a new environment of mountains and nature.we discovered this large photo of the Matterhorn in a gallery, so strong and intense, it was impossible to forget it........ It became obvious that it should adorn our new apartment as a centerpiece.What's more, we had a very sympathetic contact with the artist, who came himself to deliver his work.It's very appreciable and adds a dimension to the object, to know its creator, his passion, the conditions under which it was taken.The texture of the photo resembles a painting, the lights play on it, Next the hours.
